This structured Cuban draws its inspiration from the 19th century eaux-de-vie characterized by their aromatic complexity, the "Aged Aguardientes". Aged in white oak barrels previously used for whiskey aging it gives off smoky aromas of vanilla, coffee and raspadura (unrefined cane sugar), with spicy notes of ginger and Sichuan pepper, and a light prune taste.

BUMBU X                                            € 11

The Original Barbados is a rum made using a 400 years old recipe. These spices are macerated in an all natural 15 year old artisanal rum. It is very round and sweet, with a slightly spicy barley sugar flavor where the banana candy melts into a syrup perfumed with toasted oak and a roasted note.

DZAMA VIEUX 1998                             € 17

This Malagasy, coming from the island of Nosy Bé, a plant world that influences the aromas of cane juice. This 1998 Vintage expresses all its finesse, smoothness and incredible aromas. On the nose, we enjoy peppery notes, followed in the mouth by a whole range of roasted notes, to finish on a vanilla and milky finish that melts in the mouth. A delight!

MEZAN BELIZE 2008                            € 15
This Belizean rum fermented in a triple column still is aged for 10 years in ex-Bourbon barrels. Intense and woody, it reveals flavors of caramel towards spices and chocolate to finish with gourmet aromas of nuts.

SOL TARASCO                                     € 12

This handmade Mexican is an aged -D.O Charanda, also known as 'Guarapo', made from 100% pure cane juice growing on high altitude red soil, it is distilled in a copper pot still before being refined in old bourbon and sherry casks. It offers honeyed and spicy notes, and without no added sugar.

NAGA RESERVE                                   € 11
It is an historical cradle for rum, which rum lovers from all over the world should visit on pilgrimage... There, it is given the name of Batavia Arrack, from the old name of the capital Jakarta. This Indonesian rum is fermented from malted Javanese red yeast rice, distilled in stills and aged for up to seven years and aged in Jati wooden barrels and then in Bourbon barrels. This produces a sweet rum with notes of vanilla, coffee and caramel like a slightly cooked honey, a moist and slightly spicy oakiness and a smoky edge at the very end.

HAMPDEN - THE YOUGER                     € 14
This LROK from Jamaica has benefited from 5 years of aging, it combines the aromatic intensity due to its tropical aging and the freshness of a young rum. With notes of orange zest and pineapple, it reveals all the flavors of sugar cane and clove.

DOORLY'S 12Y                                     € 15
This Barbadian rum is a blend of two distillates, still and column. One bringing complexity and depth, the other releasing a very fine rum, balanced with spicy and pastry notes with aromas of molasses or even liquorice and maple syrup. Herbaceous, it is aged in old Kentucky Bourbon casks and Madeira casks.

A whiff and taste of this rum will instantly bring back sweet childhood memories of biting into Juicy Fruit gum. Sweet and fruity papaya, mango, pineapple, banana, coconut and lychee dominate the palate over notes of lilac, sage, thyme, and malted milk chocolate. The slightest zing of orange zest and lemongrass provide some herbal refreshment to this rich, lush and highly unusual style.

This Demon’s Share, a humorous allusion to the share of angels that any spirit lover knows well, is a spiced rum with notes of orange, vanilla and sweet spices. Fermented from endemic yeasts and distilled in a column still, the rum has aged 6 years in American oak barrels. It is produced by Bodegas de America, a Panamanian distillery.

SMITH & CROSS RUM                           € 12

A mix of heavy bodied Wedderburn style rum and medium bodied Plummer, Smith and Cross is an excellent Jamaican rum that's making waves in the bar world. Bottled at 57%, navy strength, and intensely flavoured, this works well in cocktails but also has a depth that rewards those who like to sip their rum.

Wray and Nephew displays rich aromas of overripe bananas, molasses, walnuts, and white cake, with a notable signature funk that rum aficionados refer to as “hogo”.Considering that Wray is 126 proof, it is not advisable to drink this straight, though many are not deterred. After adding a dash of water, bold flavors of clove, caramelized bananas, candied walnuts, grilled pineapple, and hogo dominate your palate and transport you to the islands of Jamaica.

This finely peated Scottish Hidden single malt is both balanced and subtle, iodized and smoky, with notes of olive oil, almond and citrus fruits detectable on the nose and on the palate. The set provides a pleasant feeling of freshness.

ARDBEG WEE BEASTIE                        € 13

This Scottish Single Malt from Islay breaks the codes with an aging of 5 years in barrels of Bourbon and Sherry Oloroso in order to preserve all the intensity of the smoke. This gives a powerful and rich expression, almost iodized with hints of cocoa, caramel and smoked meat.

One hundred percent Australian, this Single Malt is aged in French oak barrels that have contained red wine from Australia's two main wine regions: Yarra and Baossa Valley. The result is a resolutely fruity malt with tannic and spicy notes; but which does not lack elegance!

This Single Malt made of pure Belgian barley is aged in first fill Bourbon casks made with American white oak, non chill filtered and with is own true color, it gives us spanish honey, candied ginger, even apples fried in butter and plum tart, to finish with the pleasant taste of the malt distillate, leaving a fruity and woody echo of the Hesbaye region as its legacy.

When the waves break, this 12-year-old will warm the palate with notes of cereals and grilled apples, as well as hints of maritime spices. The calm of the storm. From Macduff, Deveron is Scotland's most northeastern distillery. It is located where the Deveron River meets the sea, which gives its whiskey a marine style, filled with fruity notes.

BENROMACH ORGANIC                        € 16
Benromach Organic is the first Soil Association certified Organic single malt whisky and has enjoyed maturation in new oak, though this is a well-oaked dram, there is plenty of toffee and spice.

This is a blend of multiple types of malt and grain that Nikka reserves. Nikka From the Barrel was created to deliver full flavors and richness of whisky "from barrels" which only blenders can sniff and taste.

BART'S                                               € 11

This complex Irish blend of Grain, Pot Still & Peated Malt with Malt Whiskey’s finished in Rye and Oloroso casks, born in Lanesborough, is non chill-filtered and with no added colors. This dram has a sweet aroma of marshmallows, cinnamon and pear with a taste of caramelised sugar and a lingering spicy, finish by wisps of smoke.

KOVAL BOURBON ORGANIC                 € 16
Sweet vanilla notes are found along with some light char smoke and toasted grains. Not sure you would know that millet was used as the secondary grain, but you know that it isn't rye or barley. The mid-palate is soft and sweet and with finish focusing on barrel spices and char smoke.

Only the "core" of the distillate is kept in this 100% organic rye single cask aged in American oak barrels from Minnesota. 100% organic, the rye used comes from a cooperative of organic farmers in the Midwest.
